A hands-on sourdough workshop led by Perfect Brewing Supply will guide participants through using specialty malted grains—commonly found in craft beer—to enhance artisan bread. Attendees will sample breads made with malted grains and learn how these ingredients influence color, sweetness and aroma. The class covers flour varieties, basic dough techniques and how to work with malted grains at home.
Participants will shape dough to take home for baking and will receive a live sourdough starter to continue practicing. Chef Andy from Perfect Brewing Supply will lead the participation-style class, with aprons and workstations provided. Coffee and tea are complimentary; wine, beer, soda and San Pellegrino are available for purchase. Space is limited.
