Tony, owner of Tony Cannoli in Mundelein, will lead a hands-on cannoli-making class at The Joyful Gourmet, kicking off the venue's Local Chef Series. Participants will learn to craft cannoli shells and fill them with their choice of fillings, with Tony guiding each step and sharing techniques throughout.

Aprons and workstations will be provided. Each participant receives dough to roll into three cannoli; Tony's family recipe is not shared, but he will explain the techniques needed to make the shells. One glass of wine is included for guests 21 and older; additional glasses are available for purchase at the wine bar. Tickets for guests under 21 are $55 and available by calling The Joyful Gourmet. Participants also receive 10% off regularly priced merchandise during the event. Space is limited.
