A Family Education Conference will take place Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University Center, 1200 University Center Drive, Grayslake.

The conference will provide information and resources for families supporting students who plan to attend college. Attendees can learn about applying for scholarships and grants, preparing and supporting college-bound students and understanding college requirements.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with college representatives and speak with current college students about navigating college life. The conference will also share strategies to help students work toward earning a college degree.

The event will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person or virtually via Zoom. Registration is available online.

La Conferencia de Familias en Educación se llevará a cabo el sábado 25 de abril de 2026, de 9 a.m. a 1 p.m., en el University Center, 1200 University Center Drive, en Grayslake.

La conferencia ofrecerá información y recursos para familias que apoyan a estudiantes que planean asistir a la universidad. Los asistentes podrán aprender sobre cómo solicitar becas y subsidios, cómo prepararse y apoyar a estudiantes que planean asistir a la universidad y conocer los requisitos académicos.

Los participantes también tendrán la oportunidad de conocer y conversar con representantes universitarios y con estudiantes universitarios actuales sobre cómo navegar la vida universitaria de manera efectiva. Además, se compartirán estrategias para ayudar a los estudiantes a obtener un título universitario.
