Winthrop Harbor’s annual Fall Fest will offer a full evening of family-friendly activities, entertainment and seasonal treats.
Guests can take part in Halloween Trivia hosted by Dana McCarthy or join the Special Events Committee’s Scavenger Hunt, with flashlights provided at the entry gate. Highlights include a petting zoo from Patch 22, an inflatable maze and carnival-style games organized by Community 365 and Queens. The Winthrop Harbor Baptist Church will offer hay rides, while children can enjoy face painting, train rides and meet princesses handing out glow sticks. Live music by Ryan Lindsey will round out the night’s entertainment.
Food vendors Smackin’ Burger and Grub N’ Go will serve a variety of favorites, with additional options from the Lions Club. Seasonal snacks such as apple donuts, pumpkin cookies and s’mores kits will be available from Parks and Recreation and Community 365. Beverages will include apple cider, specialty kombucha from Living Full Kombucha and select alcoholic drinks.
Admission requires a wristband. Presale wristbands are $10 from Sept. 28 through Oct. 17, and $15 at the door.
