The Taste of Highland Park returns to Port Clinton Square on June 19–20, 2026, offering a premier dining and music experience in the heart of downtown. This year’s festival, running along Central Avenue, features over a dozen local vendors showcasing the North Shore’s diverse culinary scene.

The 2026 event introduces several upgrades, including air-conditioned dining areas and a new photography exhibit featuring winners from the "Capture the Heart of Highland Park" contest. Saturday’s schedule is particularly robust, featuring dedicated children’s programming from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a special 20th-anniversary showcase from the Bitter Jester Music Festival.
