WWM Fitness will host its first official 5K, a celebration of movement, empowerment and community at Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville. WWM is a women-focused fitness gym dedicated to empowering women through strength training, movement and connection.

The She Moves Mujer Muévete 5K is open to everyone, whether participants are seasoned runners, beginners or walking to the finish line. The event is about more than a race — it's about empowering women to move their bodies for physical health, mental wellness, confidence and strength.

Every step tells a story, and every mile represents resilience. The event will celebrate women who continue to show up, push forward and move through life with purpose.

A portion of the proceeds will support a scholarship awarded to a high school senior, college student or adult learner pursuing educational goals.
