Bangs Lake is a natural glacial lake located in northeastern Lake County and is considered a popular destination for family recreation in the Chicagoland area.

Recreational activities include Baggo boards, games, sun bathing and swimming.

Amenities include concessions, board walk, and WIBIT inflatable floating play area.

Swimming only available when lifeguards are on duty during open hours.

Parking is first come, first serve.

No outside food or drink; glass and alcohol are not permitted.

No kayak, paddle boarding or entrance from water permitted.

Phil's Beach and Bangs Lake Marina back up to Lindy's Landing Restaurant & Marina.

Daily: $8 resident/$9 nonresident individuals 4 and older; $1 resident/$6 nonresident seniors 62+; 3 years and younger are free. 
Twilight Fee (After 5 p.m.): $3 resident/$4 nonresident
Individual Season Pass: $38 resident/$40 nonresident
Family of Four Season Pass: $124 resident, $144 nonresident (each addl. member $20 resident/$25 nonresident)
Senior Season Pass: $2 resident/$25 nonresident seniors 62+
