Mundelein Park & Recreation District will host its annual Boo Bash from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Keith Mione Community Park. The free, family-friendly Halloween celebration includes trick-or-treating at business tables and decorated trunks, a giant pumpkin bounce house, a pumpkin patch, a storybook walk and other seasonal activities. Make sure to dress for the weather and bring a bag for candy.

The event will also feature Mundelein’s Ultimate Pumpkin Contest, where community members can showcase decorated or carved pumpkins. Food trucks will be available for attendees wishing to purchase food and drinks. Advance registration is required.
