As a stand-up comic, Jay Leno performed over 300 shows a year before becoming the host of The Tonight Show in 1992. For over two decades, Americans tuned in to watch his amusing monologues, clever punchlines and witty banter with guests. He quickly became a household name.

In 2000, the People's Choice and two-time Emmy^® Award winner earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2014, he was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame.
