The Village of Lake Zurich will host the Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade & Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Staples Park. This free, family-friendly event invites the community to celebrate pets in their Halloween best.

Event highlights:

• Trick-or-Treat Dog Parade at 11 a.m.
• Costume contest
• Photo booth
• Pet vendors and food trucks
• DJ and music
• “Pet Talks” health education series
• Adoption agencies

Participation details:

Pre-registration is encouraged, though day-of registration may be available if space allows. All dogs must be healthy, up to date on vaccinations and free from contagious illnesses. Organizers strongly recommend that participating dogs have a current influenza vaccine.
