For the Love of Pollinators at the Dunn Museum

The Dunn Museum in Libertyville is set to host a new special exhibition, For the Love of Pollinators, running from February 14 through May 31, 2026. This exhibition, created in partnership with The Bee Collective, blends art and ecology to highlight the vital role pollinators play in our global and local ecosystems.

While often overshadowed by the non-native honey bee, native pollinators are essential for maintaining the health of natural landscapes. Forest Preserves President Jessica Vealitzek emphasizes that the exhibition aims to show how "thoughtful land care and everyday actions" can ensure these species continue to support the wildlife and plants we depend on.
