Join naturalist Mary for a guided paddle on Lake Defiance, a high-quality glacial lake located within Moraine Hills State Park. Participants will explore the lake’s aquatic ecosystem and learn about its hidden life, including carnivorous bladderwort plants, diving beetles, turtles, frogs and fish.
The program is open to ages 16 and older. Limit eight boats. Participants must bring their own watercraft and be proficient in its use.
All participants are required to wear a life jacket for the duration of the program.
Meet and unload at the Park Office parking lot at Moraine Hills State Park.
