The Wall That Heals in Antioch

Since its unveiling on Veterans Day 1996, The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., has visited nearly 800 communities across the United States, bringing the memorial’s healing legacy to millions. This traveling exhibit, including a mobile Education Center, enables veterans and their families to experience the memorial’s comfort and peace within their own communities, fostering the healing process for many who have struggled to confront their memories. The Wall That Heals will be open 24 hours a day beginning July 17, until closing Sunday, July 20 at 2:00 pm. This event is free and open to all. The Wall That Heals will be escorted into Antioch IL on July 15th when assembly will begin before opening for public viewing July 17-20, 2025. It is our sincere honor for our community to be chosen as a host site for The Wall That Heals. This visit allows us to share in the memorial’s profound legacy and honor those who served.
