Enjoy a leisurely paddle at the lake at Independence Grove while learning about its unique features and native plants and animals.

Registration required. For ages 62+.

Brief on-land paddling instruction is provided prior to launching the kayaks. Cost includes use of solo kayak, paddle, life jacket and dry bag. Park in lot G or lot F. Wear quick-dry clothes (no jeans, no 100% cotton fabric) and shoes with a heel strap and closed toes that will get wet (no flip-flops, Crocs or slides). Bring a water bottle. Each participant must sign a waiver and release form, and wear a life jacket properly when on the water.
