Geology for Scouts at Dunn Museum in Libertyville

This Presidents Day, learn about the different types of rocks, the rock cycle and the difference between rocks and minerals. Then explore the Dunn Museum galleries to delve into the rich geologic history of Lake County.

This program can supplement badge knowledge; however, it is not designed to meet specific badge requirements.

Meet at the Bess Bower Dunn Museum Classroom.

The program includes museum admission only for children registered for the program. Admission for any additional adults and children can be paid for at the museum before the start of the program. For ages 5-18. Adult supervision required.
