Join the Libertyville Recreation Department on September 12th for a fun-filled day on the water at a Fishing Derby at Butler Lake! Cast your line and try your luck catching crappie, bluegill and largemouth bass. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-time fisher, this is a great event for all ages to enjoy the outdoors and friendly competition. Bring your gear, your friends and your best fishing stories—we’ll see you at the lake!

Price: $5 per person for pre-registration, $10 per person for walk-ups. All ages welcome!

Please note: Anyone 16 years and older is required to have a valid Illinois fishing license.
