Although January has ended, the Lake County fun has only just begun! As we graciously welcome a new (and somewhat warmer) month, we are fortunate to still have so many events and activities to choose from.

Without further adieu, here are the Top Things To Do This Weekend February 2-4.
Head to Long Grove this weekend for the inaugural Cocoa Crawl. Shop, dine and make many memories at this fun-filled, family-friendly outing. Guests who attend the free-admission event begin at the Village’s Visitor's Information Center to pick up a map of participating businesses. Attendees can taste 19 different cocoa treats from Long Grove merchants including Long Grove Confectionery, Buffalo Creek Brewing, Village Tavern and many more establishments. Stop by as many spots as you would like before returning to the Visitor's Information Center to cast your vote on your favorite chocolate-inspired delight or a chance to win a raffle prize donated by a participating store.
Saturday, Feb. 3; noon – 4 p.m. Free admission. Downtown Long Grove, 308 Old McHenry Rd., Long Grove.
Visit the Genesee Theatre this Friday for a firsthand look at the lives of the Presleys. “Elvis and Me: An Evening with Priscilla Presley” is an intimate presentation that gives fans a rare look into the lives of the Presleys through personal photos, home movies, film clips and more. Attendees will take a journey through Priscilla’s fascinating life. The finale provides audience members the opportunity to ask questions to the wife of the late “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”
Friday, Feb. 2; 8 p.m. Admission $26-$58. Genesee Theatre, 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan.

“Sex with Strangers” is a taut comedy about love and fame in the age of social media. This Citadel Theatre production written by Laura Eason and directed by Scott Westerman is one of the most produced plays in America. The story follows a young female novelist and her relationship with a young male blogger. The Lake Forest show displays the complex nature of using our devices on a daily basis. The show runs through March 4.
Sunday, Feb. 4; 3 p.m. Admission $40. Citadel Theatre, 300 S. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest.
The Heller Nature Center, part of the Park District of Highland Park, is hosting their ninth annual Nature Discovery Day on Saturday. Attendees of all ages are welcome to visit nature classrooms, make a craft, explore the science of nature, sled and cross-country ski, view live animals and enjoy a roasted marshmallow around the campfire. Registration is not required for this free event.
Saturday, Feb. 3; 10 a.m. – noon. Free admission. Heller Nature Center, 2821 Ridge Rd., Highland Park.
It’s a food-frenzy in Lake Zurich on Sunday and everyone’s invited to the Winter Artisan Food Market at Paulus Park. Local farmers and artisans provide fresh, healthy and interesting eats including pastured meat, eggs, canned goods, coffee, tea, artisanal desserts, produce, flowers, fish, pasta, bread and more.
