Give a Little Love Back to Celebrate the Trees that Feed LZ! 
Join the Village of Lake Zurich on Saturday, April 25th to celebrate Annual Arbor Day, a day to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees and all they do for our community.
Open to all ages. 

9 am    Tree-Planting Ceremony at Paulus Park (Near the Barn) with the Lake Zurich Tree Commission
9 am to 12 pm    
SWALCO Free Compost Giveaway (bring your own bucket and shovel, while supplies last)

9:15 am to 12:00 pm    

• Free tree sapling giveaway
• Park scavenger hunt
• Community Painting Project with Do Art Productions 
• Coffee & Cocoa with village representative to discuss local topics of interest, especially pertaining to LZ’s natural areas. (at Paulus Park Barn)

10:30 am to 12 pm    Community Park Cleanup*
*To volunteer yourself and/or your group for certain Lake Zurich events or to help clean the park, please visit our events volunteer page to sign up. Trash bags can be picked up from the Paulus Park Barn from 9 am to 10:30 am the day of or you can use your own.  Please dress for the weather and bring gloves.

Lake Zurich is a Tree City USA Community
More than 3,400 communities, including Lake Zurich, have made the commitment to becoming a Tree City USA. They have achieved Tree City USA status by meeting four core standards of sound urban forestry management: maintaining a tree board or department, having a community tree ordinance, spending at least $2 per capita on urban forestry, and celebrating Arbor Day.
