Quentin Road Baptist Church will host a free BBQ lunch honoring local first responders on Sept. 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. The event celebrates the dedication and sacrifice first responders give to the community, and families of first responders are invited to attend.

The event will open with a police K-9 demonstration, followed by a complimentary lunch featuring award-winning Carolina-style barbecue, including overnight oak-smoked ribs, pulled pork, turkey and beef, along with homemade sides and desserts. Children can enjoy giant inflatables while first responders take time off the clock to eat, socialize with colleagues and spend time with family.
