Hawthorn will host a Hispanic Heritage Celebration featuring music, dance, art and community activities. The event includes live performances such as mariachi, ballet folklórico with an instructional component, and Latin rhythmic dance instruction. Guests can also participate in hands-on crafts including carnival mask making, lino printing, Hispanic flag creation, face painting and flower crowns. In addition, local Hispanic-owned vendors will showcase unique goods and creations. The celebration is free and open to the public.
