Informal nature hikes led by naturalists are offered at Volo Bog State Natural Area, with guides providing interpretation of the site’s ecology and answering questions along the way.

Upcoming hikes at Volo Bog include:

• Monday, April 13: Tamarack View Trail
• Monday, April 27: Prairie View Trail
• Monday, May 11: Deerpath Trail
• Tuesday, May 26: Boardwalk

All hikes take place from 10 a.m. to noon, with time and distance adjusted to participants. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather and may bring binoculars. Walks meet outside the visitor center under the oak tree.
