Trains fascinate the young and the young-at-heart. So we're thrilled to offer tour planners an exclusive invitation to Wandering Tree Estate, the private home of "The Train Lady", Elaine Silets.

Your Wandering Tree Estate Tour will include:

• Access to the Wandering Tree Estate and prearranged shuttles
• Introduction and talk by Elaine Silets' son, H.L.
• Experience The Shabui Garden Railway, a Japanese water and steam garden
• Over 6,000 feet of track, bridges, trestles, a waterfall and a lake
• 1,400 sq. ft. Railroad Museum, designed to highlight famous Chicago landmarks and used to house the indoor trains

Take a moment to appreciate the estate's countless details and the impressive workmanship of the people behind this one-of-a-kind attraction.

This tour is for steady/moderate walkers and lasts about 1.5 hours.

This one-day event requires a combined total of 100 people minimum collectively.
