Take 6, the most-awarded a cappella group ever, has earned 10 Grammy Awards, 10 Dove Awards, a Soul Train Award, and membership in the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. The sextet spans jazz, doo-wop, blues and R&B, and their latest project, Rhapsody, layers their signature harmonies over songs that evolved from jazz, including Rhapsody in Blue, Mood Indigo, Giant Steps and Blue Skies. Their previous album, Iconic, topped seven Billboard charts with inventive covers of Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling and Christopher Cross’s Sailing. Take 6 has also appeared on Grammy Salutes to Paul Simon and The Beach Boys.
