Shiloh House is an elegant 25-room mansion built in 1901 by Zion's founder, the Rev. John Alexander Dowie, who headed the Christian Catholic Church.

Now it has been restored to the splendor of the Victorian era and its original glory after years of appreciative labor.

The first floor is frequently rented for quaint special occasions and can accommodate up to 70 people. Serving as the headquarters for the Zion Historical Society and as Zion's historical museum, the mansion is also open for public tours on Sundays or by appointment.

In a joint effort with the Historical Society, the Chamber has opened up a Visitor's Center.

Open Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00 to 3:00, Sundays 2:00 to 4:00.

The admission price is 5.00 per person; kids under 12 are free.  Cash only

Come visit and take a tour.
