American Place Casino will host its grand Oktoberfest celebration, inviting guests to don their best Bavarian attire, test their yodeling skills and compete for a share of thousands of dollars in Free Play prizes throughout the day.

Event Highlights and Schedule:

• Bavarian Showdown Costume Drawing (noon-9:30 p.m.): Guests who wear traditional Dirndl or Lederhosen can register at the AP Rewards Club to receive a drawing ticket. One winner will be drawn every hour from 1:30-9:30 p.m. to win $250 in Free Play.
• Oktoberfest Yodeling Contest (registration 2-8 p.m.; live contest 8 p.m.): Guests can sign up at the AP Rewards Club between 2 and 8 p.m., then take the stage at The Lighthouse at 8 p.m. Winners will be decided by crowd vote.
  • First place: $1,000 Free Play
  • Second place: $750 Free Play
  • Third place: $500 Free Play
  • Fourth place: $350 Free Play
• Barrels & Steins Hot Seat Drawings (6-11 p.m.): Guests with an active AP Rewards rating can qualify to play. One winner will be selected every 15 minutes to win $250 to $1,000 in Free Play.
