The 11th annual Lake County Beer Fest returns to the Lake County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Feb. 21, with a "Fire & Ice" theme. The event features specialty and seasonal samples from local, regional and national breweries, distilleries and wineries. The festival runs from 5 to 9 p.m., with a VIP hour beginning at 4 p.m. VIP tickets, limited to 100 participants, are $80 and must be purchased in advance online. VIP admission includes a souvenir sampling glass, 25 beverage samples, access to specialty pours during the first hour and a dedicated lounge area with seating and snacks.
General admission includes a souvenir glass and 25 samples. Tickets are $55 through January and $60 in February. All attendees must be 21 or older; no infants or children are permitted.
In addition to beverages, the event includes music, food, axe throwing, giant beer pong and a costume contest where guests are encouraged to dress according to the "Fire & Ice" theme.
