The Improv Playhouse will host a series of comedy shows in October at its new location, 130 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Performances are scheduled for Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25.

A family-friendly show begins at 7 p.m., followed by an adult-friendly show at 8:30 p.m. The later performance is BYOB-friendly.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $22.50 at the door for adults, and $12 for students both in advance and at the door. Admission at the door is cash only. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com. Light snacks and beverages will be sold on site.
