Since 1947, Hickory Knoll Golf Course has been known for serving the Lake Villa community with their beautiful 9-hole golf course. When the Golf Course was first established, the military bases throughout the area would bus over military members to play a round of golf for only a NICKEL! We have come a long way since then and are currently undergoing a major redevelopment of the course.

We have 17 new sand traps, a new drainage system at 4 of the holes, and newly developed greens. Our mission is to restore Hickory Knoll Golf Course to its former glory days! Although we welcome Golfers of all skill levels, this newly redeveloped 9-hole course is best suited for those looking to improve their short game or shoot 20 over par handicap.
