Frozen Fest in Libertyville

Enjoy an unforgettable time at Libertyville's Frozen Fest 1-4 p.m. Saturday, January 24, at Cook Park in Libertyville. 

Festivities include live reindeer visits, ice carving demos, photos with "Frozen's" Elsa and Anna, free hot cocoa, horse drawn wagon rides, Ansel Cook home tours, activity stations for younger children and more.

The Village of Fox Lake is offering a trip to Libertyville's Frozen Fest. Take a Metra train ride from Fox Lake to Downtown Libertyville at 12:45 p.m. at the Fox Lake Metra Station. Parking is free on the weekends. Have fun before Frozen Fest with onboard activities during the ride. The train arrives in Libertyville at 1:10 p.m. There is a five-minute walk from the train station to Cook Park. Board the 3:42 p.m. train back to Fox Lake and enjoy a snack. The train arrives in Fox Lake at 4:12 p.m.
