The Vernon Hills Park District will host its new Frights and Delights Halloween Festival, combining favorites from Trucks, Trunks and Treats with Fall Fest. The event will feature trunk-or-treating, a costume contest, hayrides and more.

A dog-friendly event, the festival will include a doggie costume contest and puppy adoptions. Registration is required for all participants, including adults. The event is open to ages 2 and older.
