Michelle O'Connor's abstract painting exhibition, "BEYOND THE OBVIOUS," will be featured at the Blue Moon Art Gallery from May 10-31. The artist's work, inspired by abstract expressionism, explores themes of emotion, movement, chaos and order through color, texture, layers and linework. O'Connor describes her process as an organic interplay between intuition and intentionality, resulting in dynamic, layered pieces that incorporate collage elements and detailed linework. An opening reception for the exhibition will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 6-9 p.m.
