Grab your fishing poles and join the Gurnee Park District and Gurnee Police Department for a free Cops and Bobbers Fishing Event — a family-friendly evening of fishing, crafts, raffles and fun.

Officers and park district staff will be on-site to help young anglers reel in their catch, assist with activities and hand out prizes for the most, biggest and smallest fish caught.

A limited number of fishing poles and bait will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gear to ensure everyone can join in.

This event is designed for children ages 5 to 15 and is open to Gurnee residents only. Pre-registration is required.
