Volo Bog State Natural Area is hosting "Bogs in Art," an art show and fundraiser celebrating the beauty and essence of bogs, now through July 27. The event features a silent auction, with 25% of all sales supporting the Friends of Volo Bog and the Volo Bog State Natural Area.

The exhibition showcases nature-inspired artwork, including pieces highlighting the unique plant life found in bog ecosystems. Art sales and silent auction bids will continue through July 27, with the auction closing at 2 p.m.

The event will culminate on International Bog Day, Sunday, July 27, with a full afternoon of activities:

• 1 to 3 p.m. – Artists’ Reception

• 3 to 3:30 p.m. – Poetry Readings

• 4 to 6 p.m. – Live music

Items purchased at the show during International Bog Day may be taken home the same day.
