The bewitching season of Halloween has once again cast its spell over Lake County. As autumn leaves crunch beneath your feet and porch lights glow with festive spirit, families are preparing for a night filled with costumes, candy and community fun. From spooky decorations to laughter echoing down neighborhood streets, Lake County transforms into a Halloween wonderland for all ages.
This October, residents can also take part in the Spooks & Spirits Check-In Challenge, exploring the Lake County Libation Trail and entering to win a 95 WIIL ROCK bus tour for up to 10 friends to visit three of their favorite breweries, wineries and distilleries. To participate, check in at five or more participating locations between Oct. 1 and 31 using a mobile pass. It's a spirited way to celebrate the season, one sip and sweet treat at a time.
