Things To Do This Weekend November 7-11, 2025

This weekend offers a fantastic mix of local events to celebrate the season! Brunch lovers can sip and savor, treasure hunters should check out unique finds or head to Gurnee Mills for live music. Don't forget to find deals, drinks and entertainment in Libertyville. Lake County has it all this weekend! 

Check out all the things to do this weekend in Lake County, November 7-11.

1. Champagne Walk and Brunch in Antioch

Oenophiles and brunch lovers will rejoice as individuals will sip, stroll and savor at Antioch’s Champagne and Brunch Walk. The charming downtown will host visitors as the toast as we kick off the holidays, while perusing through the shops of Antioch. Participants will receive champagne samples at various restaurants, shops and bars, a delectable brunch at The Lodge of Antioch, a non-breakable glass, a keepsake tote bag and a map of all participating locations. The 11 a.m. brunch at Rivalry Alehouse is sold out; however, two more brunch times opened up at The Lodge of Antioch for 12:30 and 2 p.m. Walkers must be ages 21 and older. 2. Grayslake Antiques and Flea Market

Shoppers at Lake County Fairgrounds & Event Center's Antiques and Flea Market

For about a half-century, Zurko Promotions has provided quality antique shows and flea markets to the Midwest. This weekend’s show and market at the Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center features an array of vendors offering myriad antiques and collectibles, including furniture, estate jewelry, vinyl records, dated instruments, postcards, glass, porcelains, vintage advertising items, home décor, toys, coins and more. Visit the Grayslake market this weekend, because each item “has a story to tell.” The antique and flea market will return one more time this year, December 13-14, perfect timing for holiday shopping. Saturday-Sunday, November 8-9; Sat.: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sun.: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission: $8. Children ages 12 and under receive free entry Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center, 1060 E. Peterson Rd., Grayslake.

3. 95 WIIL ROCK's BANDEMONIUM 2025 at Gurnee Mills

Throughout the fall, Gurnee Mills and 95 WIIL ROCK (95.1 WIIL-FM) have hosted a melee of music collectives going head-to-head in their monthly segment Bandemonium. The battle-of-the-bands-esque competition showcases its final round this Saturday, located near the mall’s Entrance G. The final two featured local bands are Grenade Launcher John of Lindenhurst (5-5:40 p.m.) and Magneen of Chicago (6-6:40 p.m.). Grenade Launcher John plays funk, rock, and metal, among other genres, while Magneen is a solo acoustic guitarist. Waiting on John, Bandemonium 2024 winner, will perform while the votes are tallied from 7-7:40 p.m. The event will provide eats and drinks for purchase (credit card only) by Lola’s Tacos and Tequila and Birch Beverages. Votes cost $5 per ticket (cash) and individuals ages six and older can vote. View the finale and rock your socks off with Gurnee Mills and 95 WIIL ROCK this weekend. 4. First Friday on MainStreet Libertyville

Invest your fest feels in the festival-infested Libertyville. First Fridays on MainStreet Libertyville is highlighted by various delectable drinks, mouth-watering eats, live entertainment, and more as visitors peruse local mom-and-pop shops offering promotional sales. Improv Playhouse showcases its First Fridays Funnies, Casa Bonita is offering a slew of special entrees and cocktails, Edie Marigold is offering $10 off Libertyville sweatshirts and other businesses are providing other deals. If you can’t make it to this First Friday, there is one more remaining this season running on December 5. Visit MainStreetLibertyville.org for more details. 

Friday, November 7; 5-9 p.m. Free entry. Downtown Libertyville, various locations along Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville. 

5. Fox Lake Fall Crawl

The leaves have changed, and downtown Fox Lake is throwing a party this weekend to give visitors a taste of autumn. Sip and celebrate as the village kicks off its inaugural Fox Lake Fall Crawl – a bar crawl highlighted by local eateries and pubs. The crawl begins at the Fox Lake Community Center where buses will drop off visitors at five different locations. The $30 ticket for individuals aged 30 and older includes a lanyard, a wristband, three drink tickets and trolley transportation provided by Jones Charter. Some of the participating venues include El Puerto Mexican Restaurant, Lake County Libation Trail partner Black Lung Brewing Co. and more. Interested parties can visit FoxLake.org for more information and tickets.
