Everyone has a secret. On Saturday, March 28, The Lighthouse at American Place Casino is betting the crowd will share theirs. Dirty Little Secrets, an interactive comedy show, comes to the Waukegan venue with a simple yet unpredictable premise: audience members anonymously submit something they've never dared tell anyone. Those secrets are then pulled at random and read aloud on stage, leaving the crowd laughing — and guessing who wrote what. While you’re at the Waukegan attraction, individuals ages 18 and older can play over 900 slot machines, dozens of table games, a sportsbook (especially for March Madness) eat at one of the four onsite eateries and more. For tickets, visit AmericanPlace.com.

Saturday, March 28; Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. The event is 21 and older; valid ID is required at the door. Tickets start at $36.31. The Lighthouse at American Place Casino, 4011 Fountain Square Place, Waukegan.

4. Deerpath Egg Dash and Doggie Egg Hunt in Vernon Hills

Deerpath Park hosts the Egg Dash and Doggie Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28, a two-event morning that opens with dogs nosing through the grounds and closes with kids racing after golden eggs on the playground. The Doggie Egg Hunt invites leashed pups to sniff out eggs filled with treats. Once the dogs clear the field, the Egg Dash takes over the playground for children ages one to eight years old. Hunts are staggered by age group to keep things fair, and scattered among the ordinary eggs are golden eggs, which are redeemable for special prizes. To register, visit VHParkDistrict.org.

Saturday, March 28; 9 to 11 a.m. $3-$4 for dogs and $5-$7 for children ages one-to-eight years old. Deerpath Park, 301 Onwentsia Rd., Vernon Hills.
