Join us at the James Lumber Center to celebrate the timeless and expressive art of jazz music! Featuring an impressive play-through of the notably beautiful and complex Cuban Fire Suite as performed by the Stan Kenton Orchestra. This performance uses a heavy Latin style that will supplement the usual jazz ensemble instrumentation, including two French horns and six Latin percussionists. Enjoy the smooth sounds, dynamic rhythms and syncopated beats that will fill our Mainstage Theatre during this annual celebration of jazz music!
