This celebrated ensemble returns to Ravinia Festival with an exciting program featuring music by Argentinian bandoneónist and composer Daniel Binelli, whose work earned a 2024 Latin Grammy nomination. A leading figure in tango nuevo, Binelli builds on the legacy of Astor Piazzolla, blending the passionate rhythms of traditional tango with contemporary harmonic and melodic innovations. His compositions pulse with energy, rich lyricism, and evocative storytelling, bringing the essence of Argentina to life.
