The City of Highland Park is bringing back its popular free Downtown concert series at Port Clinton Square, 600 Central Ave., on select Friday evenings from July 11 through Sept. 26, 2025. Concerts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., with no performances scheduled on July 25 or Aug. 22.
This year’s expanded season will feature 10 Friday evening concerts showcasing a wide range of musical genres, including folk, reggae, blues, soul, classic rock, Latin and more. New for 2025, the series includes special performances by local Highland Park performing arts groups, on-site food and beverage vendors, and an extended finale celebration on Sept. 26 featuring live music and a festive scarecrow trail through Downtown Highland Park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxing summer evening of live music and community spirit.
