Learn to make the most of summer flavors with award-winning pastry chef Gale Gand. In this demonstration-style cooking class, Gand will showcase three seasonal Italian-inspired recipes perfect for a casual summer night’s dinner.
The menu includes Italian wedding soup risotto with tiny meatballs, wilted escarole and spinach, and Parmesan cheese; caponata, a stewed eggplant and sweet pepper appetizer served on crostini; and for dessert, a classic orange olive oil cake scented with rosemary. Tastes will be provided.
Coffee and tea are complimentary. Wine, beer, soda and San Pellegrino will be available for purchase at the wine bar.
