The Mighty Kids Triathlon, an event for children aged 6-12, is scheduled for June 7th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The registration fee is $40.

The triathlon features two main races: the 8-12 year old age group starts at 9:00 AM, and the 6-7 year old age group begins at 10:30 AM. All participants will start with a swim at the Lakeview Fitness pool, followed by a bike ride and run through Deerpath Park. Distances vary by age group:

6-7 year olds: 25-yard swim, 1-mile bike, 3/4-mile run
8-10 year olds: 50-yard swim, 2-mile bike, 1-mile run
11-12 year olds: 100-yard swim, 2-mile bike, 1-mile run
Every participant will receive a t-shirt, race bag, refreshments, and a medal. Special awards will be given to the first-place finishers in each age group.

Key deadlines include May 15th for guaranteed t-shirt size, and June 4th at 11:00 AM for the final registration deadline. A mandatory parent meeting will be held on June 4th at 6:00 PM. The event will be canceled with partial refunds issued in the case of inclement weather. Lakeview Fitness, located at 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, is the venue.
