The Grayslake Park District invites the community to the 11th Annual George Weinert Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 7, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Jones Island Park. The event honors the memory of longtime Park Board Commissioner George Weinert, who served the district for 17 years and was deeply committed to the Grayslake community.

Participants must register by May 31.
