Experience the Genesee Theatre like never before during the debut of Gallery Nights at The Genesee—a one-night-only pop-up gallery in the theater’s grand main lobby.

This special event, part of May ArtWauk on Saturday, May 17th, will feature stunning photography from two talented local artists:

Jon Revelle of jonrev Projects captures and archives the essence of commercial architecture, shopping centers, and other nostalgic spaces. His work explores the concept of obsolescence—preserving memories of places that may no longer exist—with a professional edge and an eye for unique detail.

Jay Stephen of StudioJ Media brings a wide lens to his photography, including portraits, architecture, landscapes, and more. His collection features powerful imagery of past and present Waukegan scenes, making it a perfect fit for the historic Genesee Theatre during ArtWauk.

Stroll through the beautifully reimagined lobby and experience local art in an iconic setting. The Genesee Theatre box office will also be open, so you can grab show tickets while you explore.
