The Taste of Highland Park is downtown Highland Park’s premiere dining and music festival. Mark your calendars for 2025’s event: Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 from 5 PM - 10 PM both nights, at Port Clinton Square (600 Central Ave.). 2024’s Taste of Highland Park saw over 7,500 attendees from across Chicagoland and from as far away as Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana. 14 Highland Park restaurants showcased an amazing and unique array of food and beverage options for diners to indulge in: BellaRu Catering, BWB Shakes, Cafe Dacha, Curt’s Cafe, Indus Progressive Indian, Judy’s Pizza, La Taquiza Highland Park, Lynfred Winery, Michael’s Grill & Salad Bar, Pixca, Poke Burrito, Steep Ravine Brewing, Sugarcoated, and Tamales. National and local acts graced the Bitter Jester Foundation for the Arts stage like Spin Doctors, Nine Days, Dishwalla, and the Jaren Grey Band. DJ Madrid kept the party going between sets, and Highland Park’s very own Uptown Music Theater previewed Broadway favorites from their July 2024 performance of Les Miserables.
