Dealing with Writing Challenges: A Workshop with Dawn Turner

Saturday, April 26, 10:00–11:00 am Lake Forest Library, 360 E Deerpath Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045

Register and join the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff libraries in person at Lake Forest Library for a writing workshop and book signing with Dawn Turner, author of Three Girls from Bronzeville: A Uniquely American Memoir of Race, Fate, and Sisterhood.

Dawn has written fiction and nonfiction and with both she's always wondering: "Have I done enough research? Am I asking the right questions? Does the work meet the moment?" It's not an uncommon feeling among authors. Join us to talk about the demands of writing as Dawn shares strategies she uses to work through the thickets. Attendees will receive a journal and pen from the Library.
