Come to the farm for interactive play sessions where children will participate in a range of activities aimed at enhancing their vestibular and proprioceptive awareness. These activities employ effective methods to foster the development of gross motor, fine motor, and visual processing abilities. Weekly sessions may feature, but are not limited to, exercises such as using various sizes and textures of balls for movement or throwing between designated areas, navigating wooden boards of varying heights, walking on sand, rocks, and other irregular terrains, exploring different textures including sand, stones, and grains, as well as grooming or interacting with animals. Children experiencing difficulties with sensory processing may face challenges in social and educational growth. This program targets children aged 2 to 5 years. If your child requires additional assistance to participate, a parent or caregiver must join them. There is no fee for the accompanying adult. Early intervention is crucial for helping children reach their maximum potential. Activities will take place both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather conditions. The barn where indoor activities occur is insulated but lacks heating, so it is important for children to dress appropriately for outdoor conditions.
