Join the Vernon Hills Police Department for the 28th annual National Night Out, an evening of community, safety and family fun. This nationwide event promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

The evening will feature free food and ice cream, inflatables, face painting, music and a water spray. Visitors can also explore the bookmobile from Cook Memorial Library and connect with representatives from the Vernon Hills Park District and Hawthorn School District 73.

This free event is open to all.
