Grayslake will kick off Memorial Day by stepping off with its annual parade. The VFW and TAL start the Parade at GCHS and conclude the parade at Grayslake's Memorial Park, which is at the junction of Seymour and Junior Ave in the historical homes area of downtown Grayslake. The Ceremony portion of their event generally starts at 10:30am. The ceremony consists of an invocation, a guest speaker, recital of our fallen heroes, a rifle volley for their sacrifice and then their keynote/guest speaker.
