On Monday, July 221the nationally-renowned Chicago Grit, formerly called the "Intelligentsia Cup" will be returning to downtown Mundelein for a full day of amateur and professional bicycle racing, locally called the Tighthead Mundelein Grand Prix

With activities for the whole family, this is an event you won't want to miss.

So whether you are an avid cyclist or just looking for a fun family activity this summer, be sure to put this free event on your calendars.

Starting at 10 a.m. and running until 8:15 p.m. 

There will be 10 races in different rider categories ranging from juniors to professionals in both men's and women's categories.

Pro races start at 5 p.m.
