In 2008, they were listed among Billboard's Hot 100 best musical acts of all time. Five years later, they were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association's Hall of Fame. In 2020, Rolling Stone Australia named them to their list of the 50 greatest Australian artists of all time.
